Altitude Corrections

When diving at altidue (generally above 1000ft/300m), corrections need to be made to account for lower ambient pressures than those used to obtain the decompression models. The easiest, when using the Recreational Dive Planer (RDP) is to use theoretical depths in place of actual depth. This calculator allows you to determine a theoretical depth based on your current altitude and the depth used in the RDP.

Wetsuit Estimator

This Estimator provides a quick way to provide a Starting Point for finding a suitable wetsuit.

Nitrox Calculator

For Nitrox (EANx) Air, a few numbers are important when planing your dives. Only Nitrox-Specialty Certified divers should use Cylinders containing Nitrox. Altitude corrections in this calculator derates the Max and Contingency Depths and provides a more shallow Equivalent Air Depth.
